Плановая вакцинация против вирусного гепатита В (ВГВ) позволила значительно снизить заболеваемость и смертность от указанной инфекции. Развитие острого ВГВ у детей на настоящий момент является редкостью, однако сохраняется возможность развития подобного сценария у детей из семейных очагов ВГВ, а также у детей с отсутствием специфической профилактики.

Приведено клиническое наблюдение развития острого ВГВ у ребенка грудного возраста, продемонстрированы сложности ведения подобных пациентов.

Routine vaccination against viral hepatitis B (HBV) has significantly reduced morbidity and mortality from this infection. The development of acute HBV in children is currently a rarity, but there is still the possibility of developing a similar scenario in children from family foci of HBV, aswell as in children with no specific prophylaxis. A clinical observation of the development of acute HBV in aninfant is presented, and the difficulties of managing such patients are demonstrated.
