Scientific and practical journal "CHILDREN INFECTIONS" ("Detskie Infektsii") of the Association of Pediatricians and Infection Disease doctors is published since December 2002. Co-founder of the journal is the Association of Pediatricians and Infection Disease doctors.

Since 2002 journal is a press organ of the Congress of Russian Infection Disease doctors that is held annually. Members of the editorial board are the leading experts in the field of pediatrics and infectious diseases in children, heads of departments of infectious diseases of the leading medical universities in Russia. All editions of the journal "CHILDREN INFECTIONS" ("Detskie Infektsii") are included in the list of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals of the State commission for academic degrees and titles, in which basic scientific results of dissertations for the degree of doctor and candidate of sciences should be published.
